MUSIC FOR MEDIA - GLOBAL COLLABORATIONS

In the winter of 2008, students in Mr. Graham's Grade 12 Instrumental Music class are embarking on an ambitious project to collaborate with students around the world. This will involve the music students writing original music for videos, short films and theatre productions of students at other schools around the world. This process will include online discussion, videoconferencing and messaging in an attempt to create truly collaborative, final artistic works. Current projects for this endeavour include the following:

- Buenos Aires, Argentina - Institutional Powerpoint Presentation

- Chillscothe, Ohio - Theme Music for Newscast

- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Music for Theatre Production of Road Dahl's "The Enormous Crocodile"

- Santa Clara, California - Videos for Communities

- Toronto, Ontario - Anti-Bullying Videos
